"Big Log" to spory hit wokalisty Led Zeppelin, po obu stronach Atlantyku w pierwszej dwudziestce. Dodam, że zwrot "po obu stronach Atlantyku" jakiego się często używa na całym świecie w muzycznym biznesie określa rynek amerykański oraz brytyjski. Dla mnie to wyjątkowa piosenka, song z fantastycznego okresu młodości w moim życiu, przesiadywania w soboty i słuchanie Listy Przebojów Programu Trzeciego - samotnie lub w gronie przyjaciół. "Big Log" jak i wcześniejszy przebój "Moonlight In Samosa" (wydany na singlu jako strona B "Burning Down One Side") to piosenki promowane w Trójce dzięki panom Piotrowi Kaczkowskiemu i Markowi Niedźwieckiemu, którzy kształtowali muzyczne gusta Polaków i trudno dziwić się Korze, która czasem goszcząc w Trójce ogromnie sie podlizywała prezenterom. Trójka trzymała rząd dusz młodych Polaków. Co prawda radiowa jedynka i Bogdan Fabiański próbowali wtedy promować swoje dyskotekowe hity ale ambitny słuchacz słuchał Trójki. Plant do dzisiaj ma dobre notowania w tej radiostacji ale jak mógłby nie mieć członek legendy. 

Dla wielu Led Zeppelin to największa kapela świata, dla mnie na pewno w tzw. heavy metalu. "Big Log" oraz "Moonlight In Samosa" to ballady, inne niż Led zeppelin, z akustycznymi gitarami, magnetyzującym głosem Roberta, który próbował tworzyć swój styl. Z rożnym skutkiem. Polecam dzisiaj te dwa songi bo nie można ich nie znać i mieć w swoich zbiorach.Wielki Robert, świetna muzyka. Współautorem obu piosenek i większości piosenek na obu albumach, z którego pochodzą jest Robbie Blunt, zdolny brytyjski gitarzysta, grający z wieloma artystami jak np. Tom Petty, ale najbardziej kojarzony ze współpracy z Plantem. Obaj na zdjęciu z lewej strony. Ciekawostka to w "Księżycu na Samosą" na perkusji grał Phil Collins (na całym albumie "Pictures At Eleven").
